SCIENCE ON STAGE 4 - SEVLIEVO 2012

The national organizing committee with the participation of the Unions of the Physicists, Biologists, Chemists and the Ministry of education and science in Bulgaria organize the fourth national festival "Science on Stage 4". The host of the festival will be the town of Sevlievo.

OFFICIAL OPENING - 27 OCTOBER 2012.

The festival will flow within the framework of three days (26, 27, 28 october 2012). The reception and registration of the participants will start on the 26 october 2012 in the House of Culture "Mara Belcheva" in Sevlievo.
It is expected that students and teacher from other European countries will participate in the festival.

DIRECTIONS: 
      1. PERFORMNACES ON STAGE - they include settings and series of experiments, which continue up to 30 minutes, demonstrating the basic scientific principles in an attractive way.
      2. COUNTERS - students and teachers present innovative ideas for demonstrations, experiments.
      3. COUNTERS - students and teachers present posters and devices in the field of natural sciences.
      4. COMPUTER PRESENTATIONS - they should be presented within 15 minutes.

REGULATION OF THE FESTIVAL
The festival is a continuation of the European program "Science on Stage" and it has a main aim to provoke and support the interest of the young people towards the whole cycle of science subjects as a main region of the human's knowledge and future career. It gives possibilities both to students and teachers to accept science in a new and innovative way by demonstrating the fun which science can bring.
